Oil declined today following yesterday's 7% drop having suffered the biggest intra-day loss within a period of three years. Gold futures higher at $1,203.30. Euro and sterling trading higher. German Economy Tightened in Q3. Chinese shares lower on Wednesday's close.

The U.S. dollar climbed up to 16-month highs today, Monday, upon estimations that the Fed will be increasing rates in December and possibly a bit further. The Brexit matter resumes placing pressures on the sterling. Gold slightly higher at $1,209.20.

Greenback stabilised close to one-and-a-half month highs versus its major counterparts today amid indications that the Fed will resume increasing rates. Brent Crude at $86.14 per Barrel. Gold Lower on Stronger U.S. Dollar.

The sterling and the Japanese yen faced strong downside pressures some days back and particularly October 1, 2018 where the bulls initially took over having forced the price as high as 149.40 within minutes and the sellers thereafter brought the price as low as 147.18.
