Institutional Sales Manager

Key Responsibilities / Duties

  • Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction
  • Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs
  • Arrange business meetings with prospective clients
  • Promote the company’s products/services addressing or predicting clients’ objectives
  • Keep records of sales, revenue, invoices etc.
  • Build long-term relationships with new and existing customer
  • Develop entry level staff into valuable salespeople (training)
  • Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives
  • Finding and developing new markets and improving sales
  • Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events
  • Developing quotes and proposals for clients
  • Developing goals for the development team and business growth and ensuring they are met

 

Work Experience / Knowledge

  • Minimum 7-10+ years of professional working experience
  • Relevant experience in investment/Wealth Management or Financial Services is mandatory
  • Must have demonstrated ability to create sales/relationship opportunities with clients, prospects, and consultants in assigned market segments
  • Must have excellent sales skills and in-depth product and board investment knowledge
  • Must have a strong track record of generating revenue with collective investments (funds) and institutional clients.

 Skills / Other Personal Attributes Required

  • Demonstrated ability to attract clients
  • Communication and negotiation skills
  • Time management and planning skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software

 Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field
